The silence of the mind is the heart’s dialogue with God. A peaceful mind resides in a peaceful heart, communicating with God through “unspeakable words,” as the Apostle Paul affirms. This paper explores the connection among actions, words, and silence as depicted in Saint Gregory the Theologian’s Twelfth Homily, aiming to understand what he describes as 'the silence of the mind,' a result of spiritual insight and an expression of contemplative prayer.
