The MEΘEXIS Journal of Research in Values and Spirituality is a double peer-reviewed, open access, bi-annual published, printed and online. The journal aims to bring the best in academic research on values and spirituality to scholarly or interested public audience.
Editorial Policy
Submissions are reviewed in a double peer-review mode. Contributions should meet the following conditions:
Please note that by submitting your manuscript to MEΘEXIS Journal of Research Values and Spirituality you secure that:
- Only contributions in English are accepted.
- The manuscript has not been published elsewhere and it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else.
Submission Guidelines
- This journal follows a double-blind reviewing procedure.
- Manuscripts should be formatted according to Chicago Style (https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide/citation-guide-1.html).
- Submitted manuscripts should be PDF files prepared for this procedure. Author names, affiliations and any other identifying information should be removed from the manuscript text. It is the responsibility of the author to anonymize material.
- A separate Word file will be attached, containing the contact information of the corresponding author.
- Manuscripts may be sent as email attachments to methexis.researchjournal@gmail.com
Accepted papers
Papers should be between 4.000 and 10.000 words in length.
Title should be concise and informative. The title should be no more than 10 words.
Author information
- The name(s) of the author(s)
- The affiliation(s) of the author(s), i.e. institution, (department), city, (state), country
- An active institutional e-mail address of the corresponding author
Abstract: Papers should include a short abstract (250 words) followed by 4 to 8 keywords.
Manuscripts should be submitted in Word. Use a normal font (11- font size, Century Schoolbook) for text.
Peer Review Procedure
Papers are refereed by two anonymous reviewers. The refereeing period is 2-4 months. Authors will be notified by email if their text is accepted for publication, recommended for revision, or rejected. No processing or publication fees are required.
