Manuel Sumares, a Portuguese American, is a retired professor of philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy (Braga) of the Catholic University of Portugal, former Editor of Revista Portuguesa de Filosofia, with a special (and continued) interest in post-secular thought. He is also an Orthodox priest.
