Philip O. Ujomu is a Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy, Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State, Nigeria. He holds his B.A. (Hons.), M.A. and Ph.D degrees in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. His specialty is in the theory and application of Political and Social Philosophy. The direction of Ujomu’s research combines a very strong commitment to Social Sciences and Humanities theorising, with a steady devotion to the mitigation of the African predicament. At present, he is on sabbatical leave in the Department of Philosophy, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
