Oana Cogeanu-Haraga, Ph.D. in Philology, is an associate professor at the Faculty of Letters at UAIC in Iasi, Romania. She authored An Introduction to African-American Travel Literature (2013) and Legal Translation and Beyond (2020), edited group volumes on intercultural communication, and published numerous articles and book chapters. She also participated in several intercultural research projects and is the director of the ROK Center for Korean Studies at UAIC. Her research interests cover cultural studies and the theory and practice of translation, and her focus is travel writing.
