John T. Giordano earned his PhD in philosophy from Duquesne University in the United States. He has taught philosophy at various schools and universities in Tanzania, South Africa, Philippines, Cambodia and Thailand. He is currently teaching in the Graduate Program in Philosophy and Religion at Assumption University of Thailand. His recent interests are concerned with the influence of globalization and the information age on culture; approaching this problem through comparative readings of aesthetics, religion, political philosophy and local mythologies. He is the editor-in-chief of the journal, Prajña Vihara: Journal of Philosophy and Religion.
