Emel Sünter completed her undergraduate education at Konya Selçuk University Faculty of Theology in 2002, and her master’s degree at Konya Selçuk University Social Sciences Institute in 2004. After completing her doctoral studies at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2015, she started working at Iğdır University in 2018. She received her associate professorship in 2021. Later, she started working at Izmir Dokuz Eylül University. Her areas of expertise are on Islamic Philosophy, Turkish Islamic Thought, Practical Ethics and Spiritual counseling.

Nısan Şaşal completed her undergraduate education at Galatasaray University, Department of Philosophy in 2015. She completed her master’s degree at Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Social Sciences. Starting with 2017, she is a PhD student on philosophy and religious studies. Her research interests are History of Philosophy, Moral Philosophy and Islamic Philosophy.
